Nope people got me on MySpace then they jumped ship to FaceBook I refuse to Tweet. I don't care where the guy down the street gets his coffee from maybe if I was still hanging out in LA or visiting NY where 'something' good was going on...
I'm sure anyone who knows me knows how vocal I was about Twitter being the source of all idiocy on the internet, and even though I think Tumblr (Dumblr) has taken that mantle, I still think the Twitter is used by most to be a banal narration of their delusion that anyone cares about them.
But in the past several months, I've seen how it can also be used as a conversational tool and a service to spread real, important communication. In the couple days I've been on it, I've made new professional connections and had conversations with celebrities whose work I admire. Crazy thing, that.
I don't have a fancy phone either. I think that's probably the worst way to use Twitter, when you have no filter for it.
