...and then I got the damn cat some water.

Talk to the Robot!

Since our cat is sharing our room with us (or we share his room) when he wants new water he jumps on our heads and licks our ears and screams until we get up. This happens anywhere between 2 and 8am.

My cat will sit on your stomach and meow in your face with breath that smells like rotting flesh until you give her what she wants. :/ This is her house and we all know it.

I once had a cat who would lift the reservoir on his self watering bowl. Usually when it was empty, but sometimes when it still had water in it.

He would tip the reservoir off the base and push it down the stairs. Had to be careful in the mornings....

I no longer use the self watering bowls. Our youngest male cat these days will pull on the door until either a: he opened it or b: you open it. Either way, he wins the game (at 3am)

Sigh.

I took a nap on the couch earlier today, and I woke up to one of my cats clawing me through the blanket. I went upstairs to sleep in my bed, and a half hour later, he was doing it again, so I threw him out into the hall and locked the door. My stepbrother woke me up to ask a question later, and didn't lock the door when he shut it. Sure enough, a half-hour later, kitty was pawing at me again. What the hell, cat?

hahaha what's she do, knock around her water dish? XD

My cat used to perch on top of me or crouch right by my face and cry in the morning for her breakfast, but I was having none of that shit please. D:< I would shove her off the bed repeatedly, and it eventually sank in.
Now I just wake up to find her inches from my face staring at me intently. o_o;

this is why I don't have a cat 8D

I've got a sliding door that popped off it's track a few decades ago, and now it slides and swings. When it's closed, my cats like to push it open and squeeze their way into my room.
Not so bad in the daytime.
Hellfire at night time.

This is why I don't object to my cat drinking from the toilet :)

My cat has developed a love for water from the fridge dispenser. Any time he hears it start he comes racing up the stairs howling. Gave my neighbors a fright the first time. And people wonder why I lovingly nicknamed him "shithead".....
