I maintain that this is a "Canadian Question" because somehow every American would be familiar with the units. This is most likely wildly untrue, though. :)

Yep, 4 quarts in a gallon.
2 pints in a quart
2 cups in a pint
8 ounces in a cup.

Silly Rori, in Canada, they use Litres!

seriously, guys. the metric system. you'd think the people that have the most advanced weaponry and space technology in the *world* would be able to catch up with the metric system.

i'd venture a joke about 'no metric system, terrible foreign policy', but i think even in saddam's iraq they used litres.
