I am the same way. I had four cats at one time, till I lost one a few years ago. I was told by my friend who owns the house that I'm not allowed to get another one, though every time I go to the pet store, it takes all my strength to follow his rule.
Remember how I said I had a bunch of stray cats living in my garage? Well, two months ago, one of those cats somehow got into our heating duct under the house and gave birth to three kittens (two males and a female). Mom found them inside the floor vent in the living room, took the kittens out of there and raised them herself, bottle-feeding them, potty training them and whatnot.
Now, they're about two months old (to my estimate), and perfect house cats. They don't pee everywhere, they don't tear up your furniture, and they get along great with other pets. Only problem is, our indoor cat don't like them, and bullies them around, so we're gonna have to find them a home elsewhere. We already have given away the female, but we got two little males in need of a home. So if you're ever out Oregon way anytime in the near future and want a cat or two, let me know!
